About the event

October 30th, 2018 $1 Beer Night: TALsounds ▲ Bitchin Bajas (Record Release) @ Sleeping Village Doors 9 PM | Music 9:30 PM | $5 | $1 Hamm's | 21+ | Facebook Event

$1 Beer Night is a weekly concert series that makes going out to hear great music more affordable.

2009-2016: it was a different time! Today's electronic/drone/ambient household name Bitchin Bajas started humbly as a synthesized solo outlet before morphing into the powerhouse trio made up of Cooper Crain, Dan Quinlivan and Rob Frye that we all know and love! Now, with the 7xCD Rebajas box-set, you can revisit those halcyon days through the collected catalog of a group moving into their early prime, showcasing the progression of sounds and experimentation throughout the years - on yes, CD format! Packaged in a unique gate-fold jacket with a thick booklet of original album arts and info, Rebajas will bring it all back to you. To celebrate ten years of Bitchin Bajas, Sleeping Village will be hosting a special record (erhm, CD?) release show on October 30th in which the band will play select songs from throughout their repertoire for the first time ever! You won't be able to hear some of these tracks live anywhere else or possibly ever again!

Listen below to "Consciousness 1", originally released in 2011, which is included Disc One: Solo Works on the forthcoming REBAJAS (out 9/28) and get your tickets to this very momentous live performance. Viva la Bajas! https://bitchinbajas.bandcamp.com/track/consciousness-1

TALsounds is Natalie Chami 's ambient/ experimental/ improvisational solo project. Her other projects are Good Willsmith, l'éternèbre and the Screaming Claws. https://badabingrecords.bandcamp.com/album/love-sick-2
