Art Benefit For Beirut Artists

Musicians, poets, DJs, and visual artists from the US and Beirut (full line-up below) band together in “Fundraiser for Beirut Artists,” a one-day virtual arts festival and fundraiser streaming online on October 4, from 4-7pm ET. The festival will raise funds to support independent artists in Beirut whose creative practices and income have been greatly impacted by the devastating explosion of the port on August 4, 2020. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Lebanon Solidarity Fund, a fund jointly managed by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) and Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy), two independent organizations that are free from any political and religious affiliations and that support individual artists, writers, researchers, intellectuals, as well as organizations from the Arab region working in the field of arts and culture.
